CITY OF UMATILLA
 
ACCOUNTING/ADMINISTRATIVE CLERK – Position requires knowledge of office practices and procedures, basic knowledge of land use and building programs, word processing software (MS Word & Excel) database programs, internet, e-mail and transcription.  Must be or become a Notary Public for the State of Oregon and have a valid State of Oregon driver’s license or have ability to acquire.  Associate’s degree, or proven accounting experience, preferably as an accounts receivable or accounts payable clerk equivalent, and one year of general clerical experience, preferably in community development, planning, building permit application or any equivalent combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and ability to perform the above described duties.
