2nd Annual Oktoberfest Dinner & Auction
Altrusa International Foundation of Hermiston, OR, Inc. is gearing up for its Annual Auction and Oktoberfest Dinner to be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, at the Hermiston Conference Center.
Doors will open at 4:00PM, and dinner will be served from 5:00-7:00PM. Live Auction will begin at 7:00PM, Silent Auction will run throughout the event and the raffle winner of the $2,000.00 VISA gift card will be drawn. All proceeds from the Auction will go to fund community projects in the greater Hermiston area.
A German dinner will be catered by Dinner Thyme. The menu will consist of beer cheese fondue with rye and wheat bread (for dipping), German Meatballs with spaetzle and sauce, creamed cabbage, creamed cucumbers, topped off with a dessert of Apfel kuchen (apple cake). Cost per person will be $30.00. Tickets can be purchased at the Chamber of Commerce Office or from any Hermiston Altrusan. Everyone is encouraged to buy tickets and/or a table as soon as possible to ensure seating.
Altrusa International of Hermiston OR Inc. is a service organization dedicated to community service. Its Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization. Funds are raised through its annual Auction held the first or second Saturday in October.
